CA Toroidal Transformer Covers

The CA-xxx toroidal transformer covers are specifically designed to protect sensitive components in equipment or high-end audio products from magnetic fields or electrical noise interference. These magnetic shielded covers are intended for use with our 50VA to 400VA toroidal power transformers. They are constructed from heavy-gauge steel, welded for durability, and finished in black.

Each cover comes with all necessary hardware, including two rubber pads, a lock nut, and a mounting screw for attachment to the chassis. These universal covers can enclose toroidal transformers without the need for potting material, allowing for easy transformer replacement in the future.

The two rubber pads isolate the transformer from direct contact with the metal case and lock nut. The center rod is approximately 0.05" longer to prevent any electrical short between the cover and the main chassis (assuming the chassis is metal).

The cover has a semi-gloss black powder coat finish, while the other mounting hardware features a zinc-plated finish.
